Barca

Arrived 1pm and once I got off the bus in the city centre, the humm of the place was everywhere, it was so inviting, people sitting, laughing, restaurants, bars all ready for business and Lionel Messi'a shirt is everywhere. Each and every shop hadan array and not a mention of Pepe's
The feature for me was the absence of cars and narrow lane ways between the magnificent buildings- truly unique and a must see and the Tapas bars are every where. So it will be either cycling or walking tomorrow in an effort to soak in more of this magnificent city. Maybe I'll try to add a few pics as words can't really describe the uniqueness of s place.

Manchester Airport. 7.00am

Having a Starbucks for the simple reason of access to Wi do but no luck to date. Flight to Barca within the hour And check out Pepe's job!
Had a madras with Mary, Kieran and Ashleigh, Catherine and Kevin- good fun.
Went to Lowry Centre on Friday and his painting at the Match is on loan from the PFA- very busy.!!
So I'll try to connect to Wi Fi and post this.

Amsterdam Airport

Arrived 6.30am and Manchester flighty at10.05am. Packed in like sardines on way up from KL
Watched Dagenham, very good!! - one line very pertinent to yours truly-
When asked how they would cope if the women continued their strike at the Ford Plant. Indignantly they replied"How would we cope!! - aren't we Women!!. That was my lesson for the day

D (departure day)

Here at KL Airport, 11pm, awaiting next leg to Amsterdam. Day began with a visit to Jessie's teachers and all good. I was a bit go smacked when one of her teachers mentioned I played football with her husband 15 years ago!! And I was getting bags custom checked Airport Who was it but a chap I worked with10years ago. Anyhow technology going well so far, managed to hook into this but Jessie I have neither yours or Mum's email!
So we'll head off into night skies- happy dreams!!

Last Minute Preparation

Mandatory trip to Chiro as I stuffed up my back playing football yesterday.
Keenly eying temps in Europe and warmer clothing is required.!!
Jessie to get fitted for mouth guard this avo and we will need to go shopping for hockey stick and shin guards, she plays first match on Sunday - sadly I'll miss.

So...

So Im going see if this works but if it doesn't aI very possibly throw the iPad, computer and iPod as well as anything else out the window!
